Guidance for candidates applying to Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System
At Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, we are committed to providing a safe and transparent hiring experience. Unfortunately, job scams have become increasingly common, and fraudsters may try to impersonate employers to collect personal information or money from job seekers.

How to Identify a Scam Job Offer
Be cautious if you encounter any of the following:
  • You are offered a job without applying or interviewing. Spartanburg Regional follows a formal recruitment process for all positions.
  • You are asked to pay money for equipment, training, certifications, background checks or application fees. Spartanburg Regional will never ask candidates to send money as part of the hiring process.
  • You are asked to provide sensitive personal or financial information early in the process, such as banking information, credit card numbers or passwords.
  • The communication comes from an unofficial email address or requests that you move conversations to personal messaging apps. Emails about Spartanburg Regional jobs will come from one of these domains: @srhs.com and @careeralerts.srhs.com and @jobalerts.srhs.com
  • The offer seems too good to be true, such as unusually high pay, unrealistic benefits or remote opportunities that do not match the job description.
  • You receive pressure to act immediately or are told the offer will expire within hours.
