The program allows nursing students to engage in hands-on learning while gaining confidence for their professional career in nursing.

Student nurses will have the opportunity to build skills and enhance their understanding of nursing professionalism in the healthcare setting. During the paid internship, nursing students will become immersed within a patient care team, and they will gain experience by partnering directly with registered nurse mentors and other peers to collaborate on the delivery of excellent patient care.

Student nurses who successfully complete the program receive preference for future employment following the internship program. Student nurses will earn a competitive salary during the 10-week program.
