- Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program
- Complete of first semester nursing clinicals/nursing fundamentals
- Commit to a minimum of one 8 hour shift every two weeks during the school semester
What would I do as a SNA?
- You would be trained to work in a variety of roles, including Patient Care Associate, Companion, and Unit Ambassador.
- As an employee in the Resource Pool, you would be used in the role needed most for the shift you are available to work.
- This awesome opportunity gives you exposure to many roles on the healthcare team and to many units within the hospital system.
Tuition Assistance
- Associates enrolled in a Nursing program while employed in a PRN nursing clinical or support role qualify for Student Nurse Tuition Assistance.
- The total amount of the award is based on your college's offering of "free tuition."

Our Nurse Residency Program at SRHS is designed to transition new graduates from student to competent, professional nurses with the tools and skills needed to provide safe, quality care. The program provides support and education from experienced mentors in the field and enables participants to grow their knowledge, confidence, leadership and critical-thinking skills.
Benefits to the Transition to Practice Nurse Residency:
- Cohorts start year-round with no wait time for entry to practice
- New graduate is hired directly by a Nurse Leader to any unit with New Grad RN job posting
- Residency is included as a support system for all new graduate hires
- Population-specific skills and disease-related education is provided for sub-groups in the cohort
- Information is tailored to the patient population you will work with daily (see pathways in link below)
- NCLEX prep course available to hired associates awaiting NCLEX test date
- Remediation support for hired graduates with unsuccessful attempt on NCLEX exam
- Pay rate for residency learning does not decrease from bedside pay rate
